HVAC Success – Just Do It….Every Damn Day!

Where the elite HVAC companies receive the knowledge and motivation to keep them on the fast track to dominant HVAC success!

People love to talk. Most people talk about their accomplishments and HVAC Successes. Normally they refer to things that happened in the past. It is always good to reflect back on where you came from, but many times we hold on to these accomplishments as if we are using them to justify our current results, or to make us feel better about what we have accomplished recently. Of course it’s important to celebrate your achievements, however it’s equally important to move on and focus on what you’re going to do today and how those accomplishments are going to impact your tomorrow.

A great number of people talk about things they want and what they are going to accomplish in the future. This can be so powerful, yet most of these folks will never actually achieve the things they talk about. In the past I have found myself to be a part of this group. I have heard people very close to me describe me as a “dreamer” or that I need to set my expectations lower to ensure that I would not be disappointed.

This has served me very well my entire life. It has been my motivation (my motive to take action); it has given me the fuel I need to push myself…..hard; to take a lot of risks and to align my actions with my goals to ensure what I talk about and what actually happens next is always in line. I knew when I was a teenager that I would be self-employed. I believed at a very young age that I had the ability to live the life of my dreams and achieve things that most people never would. I wasn’t the best athlete in school, I wasn’t voted most likely to succeed in school and I sure as hell wasn’t the smartest person in the group. Almost every decision I made between the ages of 16 years old and 25 years old, was NOT supported by just about everyone in my life.

Today, I can look in the mirror and see that I have achieved an extremely high level of HVAC Success as well as a wonderful overall success in my life. It is also clear that many of the same people who doubted me, that questioned my abilities, and even those that out and out attacked me while on my journey, are my biggest fans/supporters.

What separates those that talk about their goals and dreams versus those that actually achieve them? I’m not going to pretend I have the “secret to success”, but here is what works for me. There is no doubt in my mind that if you follow a similar plan you can achieve more, you can earn more, and you can have a larger impact on the people you surround yourself with.

1.) Clearly define what you want (Crystal clear). What does it look like? How will it feel when you achieve this?

2.) What will it take to make it happen? What action steps? What will need to happen and in what order? This is your plan, this is the road map that you will follow throughout your destination so don’t take this lightly.

3.) Review your goals and your plan daily. Are you ahead of schedule? Are you behind schedule? There is no right or wrong here, it only matters that you know exactly where you stand.

4.) Hold yourself accountable. Measure everything and be honest with yourself. If you’re not measuring your results, if you’re not keeping track of all your achievements and setbacks, you are leaving your dreams to chance.

5.) Do the work EVERY DAMN DAY! Not just when you feel like it, not just during normal work hours. Every single day! What were you supposed to do today that you didn’t? Why not?

6.) Make yourself uncomfortable. Do the things that make you the most nervous, identify the action steps that you fear most and do them first. Dial that phone number rather than putting it off until a better time, there is no good time, just do it! Make that stop during your travels that you really don’t want to make or commit yourself to something that you’re not really sure how you will accomplish.

Do what you said you would do, when you said you would do it, exactly how you said it would be done…every single time!

What you constantly focus on, you will always get more of. Really take a moment and think about that statement because it is the very thing you need to completely understand if you ever want to achieve anything in life! The challenge is that we very rarely can go 24 hours without focusing on negative things. Challenge yourself right now to go one entire day without any negativity. Most people can not go 24 hours…..can you?
